Save Port Ellen Ferris

SAVE PORT ELLEN'S FERRIES! Ferry Review online petition is up! Please sign your name to help save Port Ellen's ferry service from being reduced. The ferry review is proposing running fewer sailings from Port Ellen and more from Port Askaig after the pier reopens (we don't yet know exactly how many sailings will be maintained). Once finalised this review will not be looked at again for 10 years! This has the potential to drastically impact on life in Port Ellen and Kildalton and Oa so please support the 'Save Port Ellen's Ferries' campaign by signing up now!

Islay Ferry Service technical reasons

Due to technical reasons all ferry sailings from Islay are departing from Port Ellen until further Notice.

The Cruise ship M.V Expidition anchored in Port Ellen bay this afernoon at 1400hrs then Departed at 2100hrs bound for Ireland.

Shetland Trader departed Port Ellen at 0600hrs this morning bound for belfast.
