M.V Nord Star Arrived Port Ellen This Evening at 1930hrs with 500ton of Building Blocks from Coleraine for Buildbase the local Building merchant.

Islay Ferry Service

Due to Technical Problems with the M.V Lord Of The Isles, The M.V Hebridean Isles has been called to asist sailings out of Oban. So this means that the from tommorow 21/07/09 the Islay route will be down to on ship service.

M.V Hebridean Isles finished her usal Monday night at Port Askaig then she departed at 2100hrs bound for Oban.

The new Navy Boat HMS Dauntless Passed through the Sound Of Islay tonight at 1800hrs On her Trials,Later on in the week she was back up the clyde where she will stay until she is ready for her career at sea.
